DECO is an art festival that embraces modernity in the spirit of the Art Deco movement. We created a modular visual system for DECO, reinterpreting the Art Deco aesthetic in a modern way while evoking the architecture of the event’s location.



Building DECO
Extracting the linear, geometric, and symmetrical visual characteristics of the Art Deco movement, we abstracted the façade of the Centre Pompidou — the event’s venue — into a series of modular units ranging from simple to complex. A flexible modular visual system was formed.
